Jackie Chan’s journey in the film industry began at a young age. He was enrolled in the China Drama Academy, a Peking Opera School, at the age of 7. The school was run by Master Yu Jim-yuen, who trained students in acting, singing, and martial arts. Chan trained alongside other future stars, including Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao.
After completing his training, Chan began working as a stuntman and extra in Hong Kong films. His big break came in the 1970s when he was cast in the film “Big and Little Wong Tin Bar” and later landed a role in the Bruce Lee film “Enter the Dragon” as an extra and stuntman. These early experiences paved the way for his successful career as a leading actor, director, and martial artist in Hong Kong cinema.
