Wizkid is currently the most streamed African artist on Spotify this year, surpassing Tems. Both artists have accumulated 1.8 billion streams so far, while Burna Boy holds third place with over 1.5 billion streams.

Surprisingly, Wizkid, Tems, and Burna Boy have yet to drop an album this year. If Wizkid reaches 2 billion streams, it will mark the biggest streaming year for an African artist in Spotify history, making him the first African artist to hit 2 billion Spotify streams in a single calendar year.
