Combined troops of Operation HADIN KAI successfully repelled a terrorist ambush in Borno State, according to security sources

Reportedly, the ambush occurred after an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated along the Damboa–Kumala road in Damboa Local Government Area on Friday, July 4, at approximately 1 pm

The incident involved troops from 19 Battalion (Mechanised) and 25 Brigade, who were able to overcome the ambush and maintain control of the area

Security sources, such as Zagazola Makama, have provided information on the incident, which highlights the ongoing efforts of troops to combat terrorism in the region
